S&D Medical a serious option for any Hospital or Outpatient facility to consider.
S&D Medical has a proven track record of being able to turnaround radiology departments in difficult environments. S&D Medical is well acquainted with the needs of community hospitals to maintain a well-respected, service-oriented, high quality radiology practice that can service the medical staff’s in-patient needs, and at the same time foster an out-patient practice that can compete for market share revenue.
Our time-proven approach is to place several of our radiologists at each facility and have them supplemented by our depth of sub-specialists. The radiologists at our hospitals establish continuity and rapport with the medical staff and administration and become members of the medical community and work with our sub-specialists where needed for additional expertise. All of our radiologists and sites are interconnected by web-based teleradiology, allowing for immediate consultation and emergency readings at all times.
A
combination of the
depth and size of the group and the ability to leverage teleradiology capabilities,
allows S&D Medical to marshal
additional professional resources on short notice in order to
enable its hospital clients to respond adequately to the needs
of the community in a crisis situation should one arise.
Our success attests to the
scalability of our professional services and department
management model.
Management
Experience
We
have significant experience in department management, radiation
safety and regulatory requirements. Based
upon our experience at a multitude of hospitals and radiology
sites, we have developed a clear vision of the technological
requirements necessary to support the radiology departments’
medical staff and administrations to ensure the provision of
efficient quality health care to the institution in order to
better capture the all-important market in the surrounding
communities.
The group has
developed considerable expertise in technology assessment,
administration and staffing since it has ample opportunity to
compare the results from its various facilities.
The Group is
actively dedicated to adhering to government programs and
regulations including the tracking of Pay for Performance ( PQRI)
initiatives and the reporting of Critical Values.
Marketing
Hospital Radiology Services
We have
extensive experience marketing small to medium size hospitals
facing the challenge of providing optimal radiology services
when the volume does not justify enough radiologists to fill all
of the subspecialty needs. By having a large group of
radiologists, we have a greater ability to provide a broad array
of services and expertise which enables us deliver a university
style approach on a smaller, more manageable scale. With
multiple sub-specialists in our group, we are not affected by
temporary radiology shortages or the special needs of our
referring physicians.
Since the
group has a presence at multiple diverse sites, it has the
opportunity of working with the most advanced technology and at
least at some of the sites including PACS, digital mammography,
64-slice CT scanning, multiple high field and open MRI systems,
voice recognition transcription, etc. Every type of
interventional radiology including endovascular stenting,
uterine artery embolization, etc., is performed as well.
Women’s Imaging
The
group has particular expertise in Women’s Imaging and staffs
many Women’s Imaging facilities both in and out of hospital
sites. Three dedicated fellowship trained Mammographers lead 29
MQSA certified Mammographers. |
